The PS4 Slim is the only PS4 console still in production, albeit at low levels that make buying one brand new quite difficult.

The main advantage of the PS4 Slim is its relatively small frame, so it's a great choice if you game in a relatively small space (like a bedroom or apartment) or you’re looking for a second console that won’t take up too much space. If you’re not too bothered about size, a cheap PS4 is a strong alternative.

It comes down to whether or not you want to game in 4K. If you do, go for the PS4 Pro - it’s more powerful, although much bigger than the PS4 Slim. 

If you’re willing to splash out a little more, though, consider a PS5 console instead. It’s the newest PlayStation on the market, boasting top-of-the-range power and a unique design. It’s a good bet for the future too, as it is almost that new releases will eventually be PS5 exclusive. Plus, it's backwards compatible so you can play PS4 games too.
